Project 52 - week 4!

My photo this week is one from my recent trip to Vancouver. My first time ever if you can believe it! I had a lovely day strolling through Stanley park with some very lovely friends :)

Boudoir Marathon Preview

Well my first boudoir marathon is officialy done and it was a huge success! I would like to thank all the absolutely stunning ladies that made it out for the fun on Saturday. Also a HUGE thanks to my hair/makeup artist Yvonne Chan for her amazing hard work, I couldn't have done it without her! :)

Project 52 - Week 3!

Well I have a busy fun filled weekend of photo sessions ahead of me, so I thought I better get my weekly photo done :) The topic for this week was "smoke". I've always wanted to try these photos, and had so much fun trying it out. It definately took a few tries, but i'm loving looking at all the different formations, something different in every photo.

Project 52 - Week 2!

Well its only week 2 and i'm posting on the last day of the week! At least I made it! The topic for this week was "anything but a face". So pretty much anthing goes! I stepped into my backyard today to find "anything but a face" and found some plants that have seen better days. These are the leaves of some old gerber daisies I had in a pot, and amazingly enough you can actually see some frost! Love my macro lens :) Happy Saturday everyone!

I had so much fun photographing the absolutely gorgeous Ms. J a few weeks ago. She was such a natural in front of the camera, it made it rather difficult for me to pick my favs! Here's a "few" :) 

Zoe - 6 months {Edmonton Baby Photographer}

I have been waiting to photograph this gorgeous little girl for 6 months now. Her parents are very special people, and happen to be very good friends of mine. Unfortunately they live waaaaay out east (in New Brunswick), so photo shoots are a bit harder to schedule. It was so nice to finally get to meet Zoe and spend some much needed quality time with her mama over the holidays :) Here's a few of my favs of this gorgeous little girl. 

My 52 week project - Week 1

So this is officially my first post for this weekly photo project i'm taking on. I joined a group online that has categories for each week, the category for this week was laughter. My photo however, does not reflect laughter. My goal for this project is just to take more photos for myself so I might use these categories some weeks, but definately not every week :)

I LOVE Macro photography, it was the first type of photography I got interested in when I got my camera, and one of my very first lenses thanks to my hubby. Taking down the Christmas tree today I had so much fun with my new macro lens and some water droplets, oh how I love macro!

Just want to write a quick note wishing you all a Happy 2012! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season! I certainly did! I thought i'd post my Christmas and New Year photos of my boys on here, better late than never! I posted a couple of them on facebook, but I know theres a couple people out there that don't have a facebook account and i'd hate for you to miss out on the cuteness ;)

I also would like to send out a great big thank you to all of my friends, family, clients, and supporters out there! I honestly could not have gotten this far without all of you and your support. Everyone's kind words honestly mean sooooo much to me, I get excited anytime anyone makes a comment on any of my blog posts or photos on my facebook page, so thank you so much to everyone who takes the time to make me feel so special :)

One of my new years resolutions is to start a project 52 photo challenge for myself. As much as I love photographing each and everyone of you, I definately find I do not take as much time to take photos for myself anymore, so i'm hoping this will make it happen :) Stay tuned for my weekly blog posts for the project 52.
