Project 52 - Week 39

Yesterday was officially the first day of fall, and although it still feels like summer, the leaves are still quickly changing. It's absolutely gorgeous everywhere! Oh how I love fall :) 

Project 52 - Week 37

Project 52 - Week 36

Well yet again i've missed the last few weeks of my weekly photo project, but the important part is I keep coming back :) The hubby and I escaped the city for a few days away in the mountains last week. These photos are from our lovely day at Moraine Lake. As many of you know we are expecting a wee one at the end of November, but I think i'm confusing some with my weekly photo project. I'm not 36 weeks pregnant yet! 28 weeks and counting :)

Project 52 - week 30

Weekly photo is only 1 day late this week! Not my usual bright colorful macro flower shot. I went for the more industrial look this week :) 

Project 52 - Week 29

I've been slacking and missed doing my weekly photo the last few weeks. Summers are so busy, and excuses excuses :) I'm even cheating this week because I STILL haven't finished editing my pics from our trip to Arizona and San Diego from back in March. Here's a few from that trip, it will be a miracle if I can get them all done before we go on our next trip! :) 

Project 52 - Week 26

The weekly photo for this week was easy after seeing the sky tonight! I have never in my life seen a rainbow like this. If you look closely you can see its actually a double rainbow!

Walking through the ravine today I decided to take some photos of some dandelions going to seed. It's amazing how lovely they are in the ravine, especially when I can't stand the sight of them in my yard :)

I love spring and all the flowers it brings! Here's a picture of one of the gorgeous bleeding hearts in our  yard bursting with blooms :) 

Project 52 - Week 19 and my 100th post on this blog!

Well here is my weekly photo a little late again (for week 19). I always get way too excited in May and buy and plant my flowers too early. I planted a few today, including this "Charmed Whine" which is new to me, but I thought was so pretty, it looks like its covered in butterflies! 

Another exciting thing about this post! It's my 100th post since starting this blog! Thank you so very much to everyone that has supported me with my photography thus far! I truly can't thank you all enough. I can see so much improvement in my photos since I started this blog, and can't wait to see what comes in the next 100 posts! Happy Saturday everyone :) 

Project 52 - week 18

Well it appears I took a 4 week break from my 52 week photo project. It would have been so easy to just say forget it but I know I would have regreted it by the end of the year. So i'm going to attempt to restart it. I truly admire those people that do the 365 photo a day project. Now that takes dedication! :) So for now here's my photo for last week, which I believe would have been week 18. I don't often take photos of food, so here's a couple of some delicious cookies I baked this weekend :)

Proect 52 - week 14

I braved winter in April with the pooches today, and headed to the ravine to take some photos. SOOOOOO much snow!! I think we're ready for spring now!

Project 52 - week 12

Well, so much for finishing all my holiday pics last week. Perhaps it wasn't a very realistic goal. I only have a few hundred photos to sift through and edit! I'm cheating again this week and posting some pics from our day at the San Diego Zoo. 

Project 52 - week 11

I'm cheating a bit this week and posting a couple more photos from our trip to Arizona. I have a tendency to put off editing my own photos so i'm slowly trying to get through them all. I haven't even finished editing our photos from last year's trip to Hawaii! So my goal is to get the Arizona photos done this week!

Project 52 - Week 9 and 10!

Got back late last night from a lovely holiday with the hubby. We spent the first part of our trip driving around the desert of Arizona, and then spent the rest of our time in San Diego.  Good times! I took way too many photos as usual, so I thought I'd just post 2 for now. For my week 9 and 10 images, here is the snowy grand canyon and the absolutely breathtaking antelope slot canyon. More to come once I have done some weeding and editing :) 

Project 52 - Week 8

So in keeping with last weeks theme, i'm posting more orchid photos this week. I visited the orchid show yesterday, yes thats right I bet most of you didn't know there was such a thing. I highly recommend it if you've never been :) I absolutely love how beautiful and unique each and every one of these flowers are.
