Matteo - 7 days old {Edmonton newborn photographer}

I had the pleasure of photographing Matteo last weekend. He was such a gentleman and slept for pretty much the entire session. Here's a few of my favs of this adorable little guy :)

Coen is ONE!

….and just like that a year has gone by and my baby boy is 1! (His birthday was October 30th for those that don't know). This has been the most amazing year ever. I feel so lucky every day that I get to hang out with such an amazing little boy. I have learned so much over the past year and am so grateful every day that we have this happy little guy in our lives.

With Coen turning 1 comes the end of my maternity leave, and I can honestly say that I have loved every moment of being home with him. October was my last month of mat leave and we definitely made the most of it. I may have taken just a few too many pictures of him, but what else is new.
We enjoyed a gorgeous fall this year and even made it to prairie gardens adventure farm with a bunch of friends. I share a birthday month with this little guy, and celebrated a lovely quiet birthday with my 2 boys. Coen's cake smash was by far my most favorite cake smash to date … likely because well it was my baby doing it, but he also made me so proud by diving in without any coaxing from us :) We also had a small birthday party for him with some close friends and family, which was a super fun day.
We finished off the month with Halloween! He was definately the cutest dragon on the block ;)

So as of 1 year he:

- is WALKING!!! He started the week before he turned 1!
- is the happiest little dude pretty much all the time :)
- loves clapping and anyone that will clap along with him
- loves snuggling with blankets, stuffed animals and best of all ... MOM! (and Dad too of course)
- is curious about everything and constantly on the move
- can get into pretty much anything and everything if he puts his mind to it
- is sporting a pretty good head of hair ... so soft and fluffy!
- is a fantastic eater (lets hope this keeps up into toddlerhood). He enjoys indian, thai, sushi, chinese pretty much everything we eat, it's awesome. Fruit is definately his favorite though.
- can do an awesome "high five" and "medium one" (yes that's right a medium one … this was
 all his Dad but it's seriously too cute)

Cole - 8 days old {Edmonton Newborn Photographer}

I had a lovely visit last week from Cole and his parents. How perfect is he? Here's a few of my favs from our session. 

September

11 months! How can this be? Only 1 more month until I have a 1 year old! September was a gorgeous month. We made the most of our summer in September by being outside as much as possible.

As of Sept. 30th Coen is:

- A super speedy crawler
- Pulling up on everything and anything
- Saying Mama!! Or at least making the sound :)
- Sporting a total of 6 teeth now
- Often doing a "baababa" sound by moving his fist over his mouth ... seriously too cute
- Does a "downward dog"/headstand pose often
- Loves being upside down

August

Coen turned 10 months on Aug. 30th and it's amazing how quickly things have changed now that he is mobile. It's been an eventful month.

He is now:

- Crawling forwards

- Pulling up on everything to standing (we moved the crib mattress to the lowest setting just in time)

- Climbing up the stairs
- Curious about everything, which means putting anything and everything in his mouth :)

- A professional self feeder

- Enjoys tapping his leg when he's just hanging out

- Does the cutest nose scrunch face, followed often by a snort laugh. I have yet to catch this on camera shocking I know ;)
- Waves "bye bye"

- Has the cutest chuckle 

Not sure how it's possible that I have a 10 month old already! :)

Kathryn - 3 yrs old

I had the pleasure of photographing Kathryn a couple weeks ago for her 3 year birthday session. I photographed Kathryn when she was a newborn and it's so crazy to think that she is 3 years old now! Time seriously does go by waaaaay too fast! She was an absolute delight to photograph. You never know what you're going to get with a 3 year old but Kathryn was a perfect little model. Here's a few of my favs of this gorgeous little girl :)
