I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous little lady a couple weeks ago. Ivy was only 8 days old and I couldn't have asked for a better model. Take a peek at this perfect little girl :)

Claudia - 33 weeks {Edmonton Maternity Photographer}

I had so much fun with Claudia, Roberto and their adorable pup Samba a couple weeks ago.  It was hard for me to choose my favs from this session so there's more than just a few pics in this post :) I'm so excited to meet their new addition in a few weeks!

April

So we had a bit of a snowy cold April, we pretty much skipped spring this year I think. But now it's warming up and I'm so excited to spend more time outside!  Despite the terrible weather, April has been an exciting month in our house. Coen turned 6 months on April 30th, and as of 6 months he:

- weighs 16lbs 6oz
- has been slowly increasing his nap times from 45 minutes to up to 2 hours on some days!
- started on solids and can drink out of a straw!
- found his toes and is now constantly grabbing them
- rolled from his back to his belly
- can sit unsupported ... for more than just a few seconds
- has had his first swim outside of his bathtub
- loves to put anything and everything in his mouth, but still has no teeth
- still loves to stand supported
- still loves the jolly jumper, in fact i'm quite certain it's his favorite thing to do
- isn't loving his playmat as much as he used to, but we've moved him on to the exersaucer
- resonds to his name, or so it seems
- is still fitting most of his 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers
- loves to make screeching and grunting sounds

I got to spend some time with this gorgeous girl a couple weeks ago. 12 days new :)

Brooklyn - 1 year and cake smash session {Edmonton Baby Photographer}

Brooklyn and her lovely parents came by last week for some cake smashing fun. This gorgeous girl didn't need any help with her cupcake. I had way too much fun with this cutie!

March

I say this every month, but I can't believe that March has come and gone already and Coen is 5 months old! It's finally spring, although there's still way too much snow outside. Bring on the puddles and melting, i'm ready for spring!
So at 5 months:

- He weighs 15lbs 8oz
- He has only been waking once in the night to feed, and usually that is after 8-10 hours of solid sleep
- He goes to bed at 6pm, which gives us all evening to get things done, although makes it difficult to go out for dinner with the little guy
- He is still a cat napper (30-45min), although on a few rare occasions he has shocked me with a 1.5-2hr nap
- He is officially sleeping unswaddled, in a sleep sac now
- He has increased his sound vocabulary, and especially likes to make grunting noises right now
- He can sit up perfectly ... with support
- He loves to stand up with support as well
- He loves bouncing in his jolly jumper, but is still too short for his exersaucer
- He is still in 3-6 month outfits and size 2 diapers
- He now grabs at toys and especially likes to grab plastic loops and try to put them in his mouth
- He constantly has something in his mouth, usually his fist or fingers, but if there is a toy near by he will always try that as well.

Miss Mya - 1 year cake smash {Edmonton baby photographer}

I had such a fun session with Miss Mya a couple weeks ago. It's so hard to believe that it was a year ago that I did her newborn photos, take a peek here to see how much she has grown. It always amazes me how much these little ones change in a year, and I love being a part of such a special time. Here's a few of my favs of this gorgeous little girl! Oh and I should mention, she gave Coen a kiss before leaving without any encouragement from her mom or me! Seriously the sweetest little girl ever  ❤
