Kathryn - 3 yrs old

I had the pleasure of photographing Kathryn a couple weeks ago for her 3 year birthday session. I photographed Kathryn when she was a newborn and it's so crazy to think that she is 3 years old now! Time seriously does go by waaaaay too fast! She was an absolute delight to photograph. You never know what you're going to get with a 3 year old but Kathryn was a perfect little model. Here's a few of my favs of this gorgeous little girl :) 

Oliver

Oliver arrived 6 weeks earlier than his expected due date so he spent a little extra time in the hospital to get nice and strong. Hard to believe 6 weeks early and he had this much hair! Imagine how much there would have been if he was on time! Here's a few of my favs of this adorable little man :)

July

Coen turned 9 months on July 30th, and I can hardly believe that my maternity leave is now 3/4s over!

So as of July 30th :

- he weighs 19lbs 2oz
- is crawling backwards
- loves rolling around everywhere
- now has his 2 top and 2 bottom teeth
- has developed a bit of a nap routine finally. We're trying to put him to bed at 7pm now. He's usually up between 5-7am, and usually naps around 1.5hrs in the morning and again in the afternoon. He also has stopped needing feedings at night, which has made me one happy mama :)
- still loves the exersaucer and jolly jumper
- has graduated to sitting in the shopping cart, and is loving every minute of flirting with anyone that will pay attention to him.
- is a great eater, and is loving attempts with finger foods, although he doesn't quite have the coordination to get the food in his mouth yet.

Nathan - 10 days old {Edmonton Newborn Photographer}

This little guy's mom and I have been friends since we were too young to actually know how old we were lol. This is her second little boy, and i'm hoping him and his brother will have a similar relationship with my little guy that I did with their mama. Payten - 1 year cake smash session {edmonton cake smash photographer}

I have had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous little girl since she was just 6 days old. It's amazing how fast time flies and how quickly these little ones grow up! Payten is such a gorgeous little girl and I had so much fun with her during her 1 year session. She wasn't a huge fan of the icing, if you can believe it, but luckily she liked the cake and got good and smashy :)

June

June was a rainy month! Here's hoping the rest of the summer makes up for this past month.

So, as of June 30th Coen is officially 8 months old
- Now has his 2 bottom teeth
- Is now in 6-12 months clothes and size 3 diapers
- Is making dada sounds
- Rolls from back to belly in his crib all the time, this
has made for some difficult sleeps because for some reason he is unable to roll back.
- He now sleeps on his side most of the time
- Still goes to bed at 6pm, and is up for the day anywhere between 5:00am or 7:00am. Is usually up 1-2 times at night. Has a consistent 1.5hr morning nap, but fights the afternoon naps for some reason
- Finally doing some real belly laughs now
- Getting slightly mobile, can seem to move backwards and in circles when on his tummy. No crawling yet though.
- Reaches for anything and everything within reach
- Still loves the exersaucer and jolly jumper and Sophie the giraffe has become his new favorite toy
